Empowering Marginalized Women & Girls Inc (EMWG) is a Bronx based program for women. Our mission is to prevent first time and reoccurring homelessness in at risk women by addressing the underlying causes homelessness such as, mental health disorders, poor health, poverty and domestic violence. We engage at risk women and girls in skill building activities, mental health groups, homeless intervention services and health education. Moreover, we connect with other organizations to establish referral sources for our service participants.
