Finnish School of Seattle – Seattlen Suomi Koulu – Since 1995 Finnish School of Seattle Seattlen Suomi Koulu Since 1995 Welcome back to school We are super excited about getting back to school and seeing everyone in person on Saturday September 14th when we start our 29th school year at the Finnish School of Seattle in Kirkland. Our theme of the year is All about Finland divided into monthly subheadings covering everything from Finnish music through geography to sports stars. Each teacher selects topics and materials suitable for the age and language level of the group related to the theme of each month. The aim is also to carry the theme all the way to the music and arts.
