DU conserves, restores, and manages wetlands and associated habitats for North America’s waterfowl, other wildlife, and people. Wetlands help meet the lifecycle needs of 900+ wildlife species, including many threatened or endangered ones. Our projects support clean water, climate change mitigation, public recreation, and countless other outcomes. People depend on the same ecosystems as waterfowl.
