The Mission of the River Phoenix Center for Peacebuilding is to enrich the lives of individuals, families, and communities by providing and promoting the best practices and principles of peacebuilding and global sustainability. We provide programs, workshops, leadership training, education and services that encourage transformation from violence to peace. Our programs also focus on going from the punitive model to restorative to transformative. In carrying out it's mission, RPCP is guided by the life, inspiration and activism of River Phoenix. The Center honors his dedication and courageous contribution in the field of entertainment as well as to the wellbeing of the planet and all life that lives thereon.
