Green Star is a nonprofit that enables our community to reduce waste and increase recycling, and provides electronics recycling for Interior Alaska. Green Star of Interior Alaska encourages and enables the Fairbanks North Star Borough community to reduce waste and increase recycling. Our programs are designed to encourage reuse of materials, reduce unnecessary waste, and increase recycling efforts in the Fairbanks area. We provide electronics recycling for the Borough, as well as recycling services for community events large and small. We also focus on outreach and education to the community with programs like our Fairbanks Recycling Guide, presentations at schools, businesses, and organizations, and our middle school recycling curriculum.
