Prometheus Science Three thousand years ago the poet Hesiod detailed the story of Prometheus the hero who gave civilization the gift of fire. Prometheus aims to protect that same civilization by exploring threats to its existence. A science competition for everyone. Prometheus Science Bowl is open to all middle and high schoolers including those in nontraditional schooling.
