Year of Joy
Every child deserves to experience joy. Unfortunately, too many children are burdened by generational poverty, crime, and other societal issues that they miss the joys of childhood. Year of Joy was founded with the mission to provide joyful educational, cultural and confidence-building experiences for children from Houston's underserved communities. Our goal is to bring children joy, while also helping them to learn and grow. Since December 2016, more than 1,500 area children, ages 5 through 16 have experienced joyful events through the Year of Joy, a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Year of Joy is a registered trademark.
