Stevens Elementary School PTO
Stevens Elementary School is an HISD neighborhood public school serving the Oak Forest neighborhood of northwestern Houston. After opening its doors in 1952, Stevens has evolved and grown with the neighborhood it serves. The school population is dominantly Hispanic, but includes children representing the full diversity of this rapidly changing neighborhood. The SES PTO is a non-profit organization that exists for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes, including the making of distributions to organizations that quality as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The purpose of the SES PTO is to support the education of children at Stevens Elementary School by fostering relationships among the school parents, teachers and staff.
