Bauer Fund Foundation Bauer Fund Foundation Scholarship Applications Welcome to the BauerFund and Foundation The Bauer Foundation was created by Fred and Ruth Bauer longtime residents of Salisbury Connecticut. Fred Bauer was a graduate of Cornell University and Ruth Bauer was a graduate of Wellesley College. The Foundation provides indirect scholarship assistance for undergraduate college education to deserving students residing in Connecticut Regional School District One based on merit and need. The Bauer Fund operates in the same manner as the Bauer Foundation however grants from the Fund are limited to students attending Cornell University or Wellesley College.
