United in Harmony's mission is to provide homeless and impoverished children with hope and opportunities! United in Harmony is a non-profit, non-sectarian organization that was established in 1989 as a response to homelessness and poverty facing children in our community. United in Harmony's mission is to provide impoverished children in Los Angeles, Orange and Ventura counties, with hope and opportunities for the future. Camp Harmony, serves over 500 needy and underprivledged children offering them the opportunity to leave their dire circumstances of living in transitional housing and in shelters, to enjoy an overnight camping experience. Camp Harmony's overnight-camping program is designed to help children develop positive self-esteem and to thereby inspire and empower campers in their future endeavors.
