Nashville Living Wage A LIVING WAGE is a MINIMUM AMOUNT a worker must earn to afford basic necessities without public or private assistance. A LIVING WAGE is a MORE JUST minimum wage. NASHVILLE LIVING WAGE mobilizes and advocates for a just economy where workers are paid equitably employers are innovative and successful and our entire community thrives as a result. THE NASHVILLE LIVING WAGE RATE is based on the survival wage rate for Davidson County which was determined by the 2023 ALICE Report from the United Way of Tennessee.
