Oroville Piecemakers Quilt Guild Oroville Piecemakers Quilt Guild Home Gallery All About Us Newsletters Calendar Gallery Contact More Welcome to Oroville Piecemakers Quilt Guild A Bit About Us The Oroville Piecemakers Quilt Guild OPQG was started in 1980 by a small group of friends who wanted to encourage an interest in quilts and quilting and incorporated as a 501c3 in 1999. The purposes of the guild are to expand the knowledge of quiltmaking promote the appreciation of fine quilts encourage quiltmaking and collecting sponsor and support quilting activities and quilters39 expertise through education programs and workshops and provide public service projects for the good of the community. The Banner above was organized by Angie Horne as a mystery quilt. Many of us made blocks that eventually became part of the banner.
