Pittsburgh Interfaith Evolutions Corporation
PIE was created in response to the Pittsburgh Tree of Life Shooting that murdered 11 beautiful souls, particularly Joyce Fienberg, Mother-in-Law of founder Marnie Fienberg. Our activities are dedicated to trying to prevent anti-Semetic and hate crimes throughout North America, PIE seeks to encourage grassroots programs to fight anti-Semitism and hate nationally and locally. 2 for Seder is our first project and we will work with our partners to encourage other grassroots activities. PIE seeks to support American and Canadian values of equality, allowing everyone to actively contribute in an open and accepting society, with a focus on understanding and accepting Jews’ right to live in peace with our neighbors. PIE's first program is 2 for Seder.
