Telephone Museum in Northern CA - JKL Museum of Telephony

The American Museum of Telephony is dedicated to preserving telephone history. The museum demonstrates working telephones and related equipment and artifacts from the dawn of telephony (1870s) to the present day. Some Mid-20th Century phones are connected to our historical mechanical central office switches. For those that are doing telephony research, the museum provides a technical library with telephony related books, catalogs, technical journals, training material and installation and maintenance practices.

JKL MUSEUM OF TELEPHONY A telephone museum in Northern California dedicated to preserving telephone history JKL Museum of Telephony Much progress has been made rebuilding our telephone museum. Our display cabinets and walls are full of phones from the 1870s to the 1980s. The library is growing and getting organized. Our 400 line Western Electric StepbyStep telephone switch and the 400 line Stromberg Carlson XY switch are working and provide dial tone to a large number of our display phones.
