PSV cultivates the power of community to positively transform the private school experience for Black and brown families so that students thrive! Private School Village (PSV) cultivates and harnesses the power of community to positively transform the private school experience for Black and brown families so that students fully thrive. PSV is not a school but rather a community of families who share a unique school experience. It was created by a private school alum, former administrator, and current private school parent and board member to solve a problem that has persisted for generations— the need for an intentional private school parent-student-school community rooted in sustainable support for the most marginalized. While PSV primarily supports Black and brown families, research confirms that racially diverse learning environments benefit all students, enhancing critical thinking, problem-solving, and academic performance.
