CCDC helps develop through workers owed coops opportunities for decent work with decent pay for minority, immigrants and low-income residents of East Boston thus advancing a sustainable and permanent social and economic justice

WHO WE ARE The Center for Cooperative Development and Solidarity CCDS is a communitybased organization that promotes cooperativism and solidarity economies while supporting the development of workerowned cooperatives primarily in the immigrant community of East Boston. The majority of CCDS staff and leadership are Latina immigrants living in East Boston and surrounding communities that have been affected by economic inequality and rapid gentrification. The CCDS structure aligns with cooperative values and principles.
