Since 1917 we have been a 100 volunteer fire company who provides Fire Suppression Emergency Medical Services Dive Rescue and other mitigation services to the village of Taftville located in the Town of Norwich Ct and to our surroundings communities. Lisbon Ct South Burnham Highway Rubbish Fire June 7 2024 Just before 11pm last night Taftville assisted Lisbon FD and their 1st Alarm assignment with an OutsideRubbish fire that extended to a 2 car garage on South Burnham Highway. Engine21 stretched an attack line on the garage while Lisbons Engine 154 stretched a 2nd attack line on the rubbish pile.
