Women In Photography International provides avenues of learning to allow women to compete more confidently in the field of photography. During the years 1981 thru 1992, WIPI participated in lecture series, educational programs, Distinguished Photographers awards and produced the paper F2 newsletter that provided members with a forum to be recognized for their photographic talent and abilitiesReorganized and re-established in 2000 Members continue to participate in educational programs, award programs, seminars and call for entries, for Women In Photography International exhibitions, through the new expanded access of the online resource center at either www.WomenInPhotography.org or www.wipi.org.The website provides an venue for women in the photographic arts to communicate on local and global levels, sharing images, ideas and accomplishments that can further their opportunities.
