Beaufort Shag Club Welcome to Beaufort Shag Club We are a social dance club whose purpose is to promote and preserve the heritage of beach music and shag dancing to educate and teach others the art of shag dancing to provide our members and guests the opportunity to dance the Carolina shag and other related dances. Site Content Lessons Lessons Lessons The Beaufort Shag club normally meets each Wednesday at AMVETS 1831 Ribaut Road Port Royal SC from 630 to 900 PM. Additionally we hold our monthly dance on the 2nd Saturday of each month also at AMVETS. The DJ kicks off at 700 PM and we dance until 1000 PM.
