CPPO Our mission is to heal the divide between local communities of color and police in NYC by forging relationships between the community and police that work. We aim to facilitate understanding respect and cooperation between local citizens particularly youth and the Police building bridges that foster fair treatment of citizens by officers while maintaining peace. We do this by bringing former NYPD officers into the classroom to engage in a conversation with young people of color about their interactions with the police creating connections understanding trust and safety. Founded in 2021 weve worked in several Title I schools.
