Home Sponsored by the Willoughby Police Department the Public Safety Cadets Unit 6020 provides an educational resource for young males females between the ages of 1420 that live in and around Lake County Ohio and are interested in law enforcement as a possible future profession. WPD officers dispatchers and clerks provide training and supervision on station and in the community. Our goal is to show our youth members that law enforcement is a profession worth pursuing and go on to study criminal justice and law enforcement in college. Unit activities Include training meetings ability to achieve rank earn awards participate in competitions range program and ridealong program.
