THE OBJECTIVES OF THE ORGANIZATION ARE THE ADVANCEMENT OF MEDICAL SCIENCE; THE CULTIVATION OF CLINICAL RESEARCH BY THE METHODS OF THE NATURAL AND BEHAVIORAL SCIENCES; THE CORRELATION OF SCIENCE WITH THE ART OF MEDICAL PRACTICE; THE ENCOURAGEMENT OF SCIENTIFIC INVESTIGATION BY THE MEDICAL PRACTITIONER; THE DIFFUSION OF A SCIENTIFIC SPIRIT AMONG THE MEMBERS OF THE ORGANIZATION; THE SPONSORSHIP OF SCIENTIFIC MEETINGS; AND THE PUBLICATION, WITHOUT PROFIT TO THE SOCIETY, FOR NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL DISTRIBUTION, OF PAPERS ON THE METHODS AND RESULTS OF CLINICAL RESEARCH.
