THE AG LAND TRUST HAS PROTECTED MORE IRRIGATED FARMLAND AND HAS BEEN MORE EFFECTIVE IN REDIRECTING CITY GROWTH TOWARD LESS DESIRABLE LAND THAN ANY OTHER AGRICULTURAL LAND TRUST IN CALIFORNIA

Preserving Farmland Since 1984 The Ag Land Trust was one of the very first farmland preservation trusts established in California. It was created specifically to serve and benefit farmland owners to limit farmland loss from city and urban sprawl and to financially help our agricultural community. Increasing Awareness Ag Land Trusts primary goals are to protect irreplaceable farmlands and to increase the awareness of farmers and ranchers about the use of conservation easements and other legal strategies for the protection of their agribusinesses and their way of life.
