👋🏻 Please help us welcome Elizabeth Nix, RN, to our Medical Forensic Care team! Nix is our first compassionate care advocate, allowing us to expand access to crisis intervention and advocacy services for violence survivors. Nix will also be available to any of our staff who may be experiencing violence. This role helps round out our Medical Forensic Care team, which responds to acute cases of violence within our Emergency Department and provides consultation for patients who disclose violence in other departments. Prior to taking on this role, Nix most recently worked in our nursing float pool. "I am passionate about helping people get what they need to survive and move toward thriving," Nix said.
