DINNERS FOR KIDS MISSION IS TO ENSURE THAT NO CHILD GOES TO BED ON AN EMPTY STOMACH BY PROVIDING PREPARED NUTRITIOUS AND BALANCED DINNERS TO CHILDREN IN NEED. THE PROGRAM WAS DESIGNED TO USE VENDORS, COMMERCIAL FOOD SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS (RESTAURANTS OR CATERERS), TO PREPARETHE MEALS. DINNERS FOR KIDS IS TRYING TO CHANGE THIS NEGATIVE TREND BY DELIVERING SIX DINNERS A WEEK, 52 WEEKS A YEAR, TO THE CHILDREN'S HOMES. THE CHILDREN ARE REFERRED TO THE PROGRAM BY THE SCHOOLS' GUIDANCE COUNSELORS AND THE COUNTY CHILDREN & YOUTH FIELD OFFICERS.

Our Mission Dinners for Kids mission is to fight childhood hunger yearround by providing daily prepared nutritious dinners and fresh fruit to children in need in our community. About Us Volunteer News Save the date for this years Annual Dinner. The dinner will be held November 19th at the Friedman JCC located Article from Times Leader on November 16 2023 PLAINS TWP.
