THE PURPOSE OF THIS ORGANIZATION IS TO PROMOTE PHYSICAL, MENTAL, EMOTIONAL, FINANCIAL AND SOCIAL WELL-BEING THROUGH MUSIC. THE OXNARD HIGH SCHOOL BAND BOOSTERS SUPPORT THE ACTIVITIES AND PROMOTE THE INTERESTS OF THE OXNARD HIGH SCHOOL MUSIC AND AUXILIARY ALONG WITH ENSEMBLES, BAND, COLOR GUARD AND VARIOUS STUDENT, PARENT AND PUBLIC EVENTS. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO KEEPS COMMUNICATION WITH PARENTS, GENERAL PUBLIC, FEEDER SCHOOLS, AND STUDENT BODY AS TO THE NEEDS AND ACTIVITIES OF THE PROGRAM IN PURSUIT OF THESE OBJECTIVES. OXNARD HIGH SCHOOL IS CONSIDERED A LOW-INCOME SCHOOL RAISING MONEY OUTSIDE OF THE SCHOOL HELPS TO KEEP THE MUSIC PROGRAM ALIVE.
