Its corporate members are major seafood processing companies with operations in Alaska and Washington. A ROBUST INDUSTRY Alaskas seafood processors operate at the center of a global seafood supply chain enabling 5 to 6 billion pounds of seafood harvested every year in Alaska to go from thousands of fishermen to millions of consumers around the world. Our members buy fish to process in their plants located close to the fishing grounds from Ketchikan to Dutch Harbor and turn them into healthy premium quality seafood products you find in fish markets grocery stores restaurants and school lunches.
