Project Freedom Carolinas Project Freedom was formed here in the Carolinas to address a critical unmet need for children and youth rescued from sex trafficking and sexual exploitation, including young mothers. These children are often unable to return home and need a safe place to stabilize and begin healing. PFC created the first emergent care solution to address immediate medical, therapeutic and emotional needs of these young survivors. This level of emergent care is not currently available in the Carolinas. Project Freedom exists to create this new model of care that gives each child the opportunity to begin healing in a healthy environment.
