Dyanmic Divas of the Bay

Dynamic Divas of the Bay has a mission and vision to supply Breast Cancer Awareness and Wellness information to historically underserved and uninformed communities within Oakland CA. The communities we focus on typically have a large population of Black women with limited to zero knowledge of “Breast Cancer” the disease. Quite often these women do not have easy access to medical centers; leading to lack of regular health checkups including mammograms; lack of funds for transportation, lack of health insurance and lack of current breast cancer data that might encourage better self-care that could improve the quality of their lives. The outcome we want is to increase early detection of Breast Cancer and decrease the number of deaths from this horrible disease.
