The Church of Joy was founded in 1979 by three families. Early gatherings took place in a home, before the group moved to a small cabin. In 1981, the church purchased land to build a sanctuary, which was completed and dedicated in 2005. Since its inception, The Church of Joy has emphasized a diverse community of different ages, races, and backgrounds coming together to worship Jesus Christ.

Philosophy

The name "JOY" reflects the church's core values: Jesus comes first, Others second, and Yourself third. This philosophy highlights its commitment to prioritizing faith and community service.
