Overview

The National Safety Training Center Inc. (NSTC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing safety training across the United States. It emerged in 2024 as a separate entity from the Elite Tactical Academy, focusing exclusively on safety courses.

History

NSTC's origins trace back to Mine Brook Search & Rescue, Inc., which began in 2004 with a focus on establishing a water rescue capability in Somerset County, New Jersey. As the training aspect grew, it evolved into the Elite Tactical Academy, known for training Fortune 100 companies and the general public. In 2024, the safety training component was spun off into the independent nonprofit, National Safety Training Center Inc.

Courses and Training

National Safety Training Center offers a wide range of courses including:

• CPR and Basic First Aid
• Advanced Life Support
• Tactical EMS
• Lifeguarding and WSI (Water Safety Instructor) courses
• EMS Courses

These courses are designed for both first responders and the general public. NSTC collaborates with prominent organizations such as the American Red Cross and the American Heart Association to deliver its programs.

Operations

NSTC operates throughout the Northeast United States and has expanded its reach along the East Coast, including Virginia, South Carolina, and Florida. The organization aims to grow its instructor base and expand further across the country.

Nonprofit Status

NSTC is an IRS-approved 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation. This status allows it to focus on charitable and educational missions, furthering public safety through comprehensive training initiatives.
