THE MISSION OF THE TEXAS ASSOCIATION OF COUNTY AUDITORS IS TO SUPPORT THE MEMBERSHIP BY PROVIDING EDUCATION AND RESOURCES TO ASSIST IN THE PERFORMANCE OF THEIR OFFICIAL DUTIES IN AN INDEPENDENT, PROFESSIONAL, AND INNOVATIVE MANNER; THEREFORE, ENHANCING EFFICIENT AND EFFECTIVE COUNTY GOVERNMENT.GOALS ARE TO DEVELOP STRUCTURED PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS; TO BE MORE RESPONSIVE TO THE MEMBERSHIP THROUGH ENHANCED COMMUNICATIONS; ACTIVELY PARTICIPATE IN THE LEGISLATIVE PROCESS; AND PROMOTE PUBLIC AWARENESS OF THE COUNTY AUDITOR.
