Removing barriers To Fire Safety We are a nonprofit that raises money to ensure the grfdx27s fire prevention programs are always available to the community through consistent funding. The GRFD relies on the city of Grand Rapids as well as various grants to support its operations. There is a perpetual challenge in allocating sufficient funds for effective emergency response as well as funding all their programs including fire prevention. Despite the importance of these programs competing priorities sometimes limit their full financial support.
