Soulful Seeds

Soulful Seeds is a social and environmental, grassroots non-profit dedicated to addressing the root causes of food insecurity by developing and managing neighborhood gardens in Washoe County, Nevada. We envision a thriving community, and our mission is to grow connection and resiliency through neighborhood gardens. All of Soulful Seeds’ programs advance four impact priority areas: improving fresh food access, creating healthy neighborhoods, improving independence, and building meaningful social connections. Our programs include food access, education, and workforce development. Our gardens provide fresh produce, inclusive outdoor spaces, improve the biodiversity of the landscape, and promote health and wellbeing.
