The Landen Lucas Foundation Creates Access & Opportunity for Financially Underprivileged youth to gain the social & academic benefits of playing sports by providing Sports For Life Scholarships to pay for sports fees, equipment, and shoes. Living in a single parent home for much of his life, Landen didn’t have the financial stability and privileges of many of his peers. Landen loved sports, but often it was difficult to afford the sports team fees and equipment. In the Lucas household uttering the words “I can’t” was never an option. But without the proper resources, "can’t" becomes the unfortunate reality. By providing sports fees, equipment and shoes, We can make a difference in the lives of financially underprivileged youth.
