ALLCLIMBERS | Providing inclusive, accessible climbing for people with disabilities to reach new heights of accomplishment Providing inclusive accessible climbing for people with disabilities to reach new heights of accomplishment BACKGROUND How it all started Over the past thirty years I have helped people in substance abuse recovery and have specialized in nutrition services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Three years ago I learned rock climbing at a gym in Boulder Colorado. Neither an athlete or a gym rat I was amazed that I could do it and find it so gratifying. I now climb indoors several times a week and have scaled a 1000 foot rock face in Colorado and climb frequently in Red River Gorge.
