Florida Birding And Nature Festival, Oct. 17 to 20, 2024 Experience Central Florida's peak migration at the best wildlife-watching sites! Workshops, field trips, nature expo plus evening keynote programs. The Purposes for which the Corporation is to be formed are for scientific, educational, and charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954 and in this connection,these purposes include, but are not limited to:1. Develop, plan, fund, and operate the Florida Birding and Nature Festival to promote appreciation and conservation of Florida's birds and other wildlife, as well as their habitats, through responsible nature-based tourism and public awareness, annually or every other year, and by other activities as decided by the Board of Directors and the Planning Committee.2. Promote the preservation of the natural resources of Florida, foster their use and enjoyment by the public consistent with the protection and preservation of the environment, and engage in such educational, scientific, and civic activities to assist the development of responsible naturebased tourism, public awareness, and appropriate land management.3. Given the serious havoc that hurricanes Helene and Milton caused for us this last year it has been decided to move the Florida Birding Nature Festival to the alternative migration time of year the Spring. A fourday festival offering seminars keynotes field trips boat trips a free nature expo a fundraising sale where you can learn from renowned professionals experience peak migration and shop unique products.
