We provide educational resources and humanitarian assistance to those seeking asylum in the US. Education Ilimitada is a coalition of educators committed to providing educational resources and humanitarian assistance to those seeking asylum and refuge in the United States. Our name is bilingual to represent the interconnected nature of our work. Focusing on language and literacy, we believe that education is a basic human right. Education is a crucial form of capital that is often withheld from the most vulnerable populations. For migrants, it can be a matter of life and death. From refugee camps to immigrant detention centers, we offer humanitarian assistance at all stages of the immigration process. We also work with families, educators, and communities to share the stories of the people we meet and advocate for a more humane immigration system.
