SLAY is an economic and community development organization led by artists for artists. We are a registered 501(c)(3) based in the state of South Carolina. SLAY‘s vision is a new arts economy in the Lowcountry which is equitable, accessible, healthy, and sustainable and where artists are visible and valued for their contributions to the community and the impact they create. SLAY‘s mission is to support artists and creative businesses in the Lowcountry by providing tools that will enable them to be financially resilient. We empower artists as agents of change, creating and presenting art that inspires and transforms local communities.
