Smartphone apps can bring the Bible to Christians where it’s difficult or dangerous to get a paper copy. A partner in Africa sent us this update about a Bible app we’re developing for a new translation: “In early March, I travelled to meet believers and I thought I would use the opportunity to test the new Bible app. I was able to install the app for 72 people overall. “I was looking at how they were reading it aloud and the language seems so smooth. Later, I got feedback from those who were reading; they clearly told me that this version is easy to read and to understand - not knowing it is our own work! I had to explain to them that some of our local brothers and sisters are working on this. “Really they were so delighted and grateful to everyone behind this amazing work of the Lord. They are looking forward to seeing the complete Bible one day, and praying for the whole team.” (fb)
