The trend since 1998 to provide funding for international relief volunteers, educators and mission supported activities, whether church related or otherwise, has been alarmingly decreasing. This has caused many organizations to collapse or to recall full time volunteers, workers and missionaries from the field or to delay deployments of new volunteers or missionaries. Nationally, the strain of the cost of living increases, gas prices and other economic circumstances have caused many families to lower their amount of charitable commitments to charitable organizations, churches and relief efforts. Many of the workers and missionaries answering the call are indigenous to their lands or are from some countries other than the USA. This results in low exposure to the resources available to them in the United States. Most of these people have little or no connections with any charitable organizations in the United States. Further complicating the issue is that the vast majority can not read or speak English to make appeals for help nor do they have the funds to come to the Unites States and travel around to the organizations and churches to seek assistance. Grace Deposits, Inc. came into existence to come along side a few of these efforts and assist them in seeking resources in the United States for them as well as being accountable for the distribution of the charitable donations of the resources.
