Circus tents rose, performers entertained, and joy echoed throughout the fairgrounds as Specially Gifted Foundation (SGF) hosted its 5th Annual Spring in the Valley Festival on April 26th at the Coosa Valley Fairgrounds in Rome, Georgia. ✨ For those new to our community, Spring in the Valley is SGF’s signature annual event with a powerful dual purpose – creating an inclusive, accessible festival where children of ALL abilities can have fun together, while raising crucial funds to provide life-changing gifts to families caring for children with disabilities. This month, we celebrate Kendall🎈 — the heart💗 behind Specially Gifted Foundation. As the sister of our co-founder Bree and the reason SGF was born, Kendall is our constant motivation to reach more families like hers. Growing up alongside Kendall gave Bree a unique perspective on the beauty and complexity of life with a sibling who has a disability and requires full-time care. 🤝 That experience, combined with the shared passion of co-founder Macey, sparked a vision to support other families on similar journeys. 🫶 Because of Kendall, SGF exists 🎁 — and continues to grow — as a source of hope, love, and community for families across Georgia who care for children with disabilities.
