On June 12, 2016 a mass shooting took place during Latin night at the Pulse Nightclub, a beloved LGBTQ nightclub in Orlando, Florida. There were 49 people who lost their lives, and many other who were injured. At that time, this heartbreaking tragedy was the largest mass shooting in US history.
