SUBJECT MATTER Subject Matter expands the impact of powerful documentary storytelling through a unique threepronged approach We award a grant to a documentary film highlighting an urgent social issue so the film can reach more audiences. Then we award a matching grant to a corresponding nonprofit organization addressing the issue featured in the film. Lastly we invite inspired audience members to join us in donating to the nonprofit to create a positive community action in response to the film.
