Meet Amanda Kirschner. Amanda was thinking that she wanted to resume volunteering, as she did in previous years. After searching the internet a bit, luckily for us, she landed on the Habitat STW website. Amanda recently dedicated her week off from her Postal Service job, to volunteer on Habitat STW construction sites. Since January, she has been a loyal volunteer, contributing significantly to the completion of two homes. Despite having no prior construction experience, she quickly picked up the skills with the help of our patient and knowledgeable construction team. Amanda's commitment and hard work has accelerated some of our project timelines. She is known for bringing freshly baked treats to the site, spreading joy to everyone around. An avid fan of all things fun and outdoors, Amanda enjoys chatting about music, movies, shows, books, and adventures while helping out the Habitat STW crew, rain or shine. We are delighted that she discovered our team, and we look forward to nurturing a lasting and fulfilling partnership with her. Thanks, Amanda!
