Gatehouse Ministries Where international students find a place to belong. at a glance Our Directors Allan Robbin Ballard Allan grew up as a missionary kid in West Africa and Robbin grew up in North Carolina. After we married we spent 24 years as missionaries in West Africa and a couple of years in Southeast Asia. We have worn many hats over the years including dorm parenting teaching English to adults teaching at international boarding schools for missionary kids and international students relief and development work with war refugees from Liberia guest house ministries business administration leading womens Bible studies and mentoring teens.
