The World Values Network

The World Values Network is a nonprofit organization based in the United States, designated as a 501(c)3 organization. Its mission is to disseminate universal Jewish values in politics, culture, and media, aiming to make the Jewish people a light unto the nations. The organization seeks to inspire individuals to apply these values in their daily lives, contributing to healing societal challenges and promoting selfless and tolerant values through various media platforms[1][2][3].

Purpose and Activities

The World Values Network focuses on promoting Jewish core values that are believed to benefit American society by addressing issues such as high rates of divorce, teen alienation, depression, and materialism. It challenges the idea that Judaism has taken a secondary role in shaping societal ideas, despite its influential nature[3].

Leadership and Founding Philosophy

The organization is inspired by the teachings of Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, who emphasizes the importance of bringing universal Jewish values into mainstream American culture. Rabbi Boteach's teachings are designed to strengthen families, reduce societal focus on materialism, and foster caring relationships among younger generations[3].

Financial Overview

Financially, the organization primarily relies on contributions, which have constituted nearly 99.9% of its revenue in recent years. A significant portion of its expenses is allocated towards executive compensation, with notable figures in recent years[1]. The organization maintains a relatively small asset base compared to its liabilities[1].

Operations and Outreach

The World Values Network utilizes a variety of platforms to disseminate its message, including lectures, debates, radio and TV broadcasts, religious services, websites, and social media. These efforts aim to reach a broad international audience and promote Jewish values in both secular and Jewish circles[3].
