South Portland Amateur Radio Club
It shall be our purpose to promote the knowledge of radio science and other STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) areas among the youth in our communities through organizations such as the Boy Scouts of America. SPARC shall further exchange of information and cooperation between members, to promote radio knowledge, fraternalism and individual operating efficiency, and to so conduct SPARC programs and activities as to advance the general interest and welfare of amateur radio.

South Portland Amateur Radio Club – SPARC SPARC Home Welcome to the South Portland Amateur Radio Club SPARC. SPARC is dedicated to bringing amateur radio technology to youth and adults in our community. We hope to promote awareness and interest in all aspects of amateur radio and to increase participation in emergency preparedness. We work closely with our youth through a partnership with Scouting BSA by providing Merit Badge classes and supporting Scouting events with communication management.
