A vibrant, cultural mainstay, Cantata Singers is a Boston-based chorus and orchestra. Cantata Singers is a Boston-based chorus and orchestra inspired by the musical genius of Johann Sebastian Bach. Our concerts explore relationships in music from the 17th century to today and invite exploration of Bach's profound and continuing influence on our music, our culture, and ourselves.Our education program teaches songwriting and choral singing to underserved Boston schoolchildren, guided by the belief that all children deserve the means to express their creative voices.

This season, Cantata Singers reached further than ever โ and it was all possible because of your support. We launched the inaugural ๐๐ผ๐๐๐ผ๐ป ๐๐ต๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ฒ๐๐๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐น, uniting high school choirs with our ensemble for a powerful performance of Monteverdiโs ๐๐ฆ๐ด๐ฑ๐ฆ๐ณ๐ด. We premiered a moving new commission by Scott Perkins.
