Care 4 the Caregivers
An informational space, an empowering environment, and programs and services that help families Care 4 the Caregivers is focused on addressing the mental and physical health of caregivers of children with disabilities. Studies show that caregivers endure greater stress loads than parents raising typical children. These stressors result in PTSD-like symptoms. Unfortunately, resources to help caregivers with these symptoms are scarce. Few non-profits solely focus on the health and wellness of the caregivers, and Care 4 the Caregivers fills that gap.
